Saigon Rooftops from De Tham Street (colour edition)
In this very special limited edition linocut, acrylic paint has been applied to areas of the print, to create a very striking and unique Saigon cityscape view. This colourful rooftop view was inspired by the morning of the 50th anniversary of Vietnamese Reunification Day in 2025.
The Saigon skyline features the Bitexco Financial tower and one can see water tanks on buildings, a familiar sight all over Vietnam.
The vibrant colour palette, combined with meticulous attention to detail in the lino carving, results in a highly appealing urban picture.
Due to the nature of both the printmaking process and the subtle differences of the acrylic brush marks and paint blends, each artwork is completely unique and won’t look identical to the next.
