This limited edition linoprint shows the late guitarist and frontman of the band Nirvana, Kurt Cobain and is a continuation of my dead rock star series.
The rock icon, who sadly died by suicide, after achieving world fame through ‘Nevermind’ album sales, is instantly recognizable here. Cobain’s haunting gaze and messy bleach blonde hair are expressed through carefully carved relief work.
Cobain may have worn the T-shirt declaring grunge is dead, nevertheless, his music will continue to live on for generations to come.
