This limited edition linocut print is based on the landscape around central Vietnam's coast, in Quang Tri province. In fact, The Wild Bay is part of a small series of works on Quang Tri.
I have created a panoramic view of wild trees and sea, combining caulking to the surface of the linoleum to add more variation of texture to the finished artwork.
The work is loose in feel, but conveys the ruggedness of the coastline and the power of the wild elements of nature.
