Sea fishing, Vung Tau

£95.00

This original, limited edition, signed print has been beautifully executed. It conveys the natural elements of sky, sea and sand dramatically, using a variety of linocutting techniques.

From bold, broad marks to delicate, curling lines, the viewer is taken to the great outdoors. The black and white linoprint is inspired by the local Vietnamese beach fishermen along the rocky coastline of Vung Tau.

On the horizon a silhouette of a ship is tucked between the ocean and the clouds overhead.

We are given subtle clues as to the subject matter of sea fishing, from the beachcaster rods that rise from the sand. One fishing rod can be partially seen to the far left of the artwork. Indeed, they are almost lost against the expanse of the sea waves and looming sky.

If you love striking, atmospheric coastal art consider this unique print. Plus, if you’re a fishing lover this linocut is a perfect gift!
